Career Coaching Webinar N°4 (in English)

formateurNext Steps with a Career Vision at Mid Life Crisis, part 4 of 4

Join the Career Coaching Community of Practice for the final session of the four part series, ‘Career Vision at Mid-Life Crisis’. During this session, I will focus on the final stage of the exercise, where the client expresses his/her vision and defines the projects leading to the desired future. Following the completion of this exercise, the task of the coach is to sustain the client in the realization of his/her projects and discuss possible tools to be used for its purpose.

In the previous sessions we learned how to assist our client to a new outlook on his/her present life and career situation. We began with the inventory of all life and professional aspects and classified these into the four categories of: Intimate and personal, Relational, Competences and capacities, and Environmental. At the end of the most recent session, Philippe asked the listeners to write a letter using the four key words and its two companion words, identified from each category. This letter helps establish a positive image of the client being as they are today and will help guide him/her to a positive expression of the experiences and discoveries to come.

Additionally, during this final session, I will be answering questions about his exercise.

Career Coaching Webinar N°3 (in English)

3d person on the tribuneNext Steps with a Career Vision at Mid Life Crisis

Sept. 26, 2016 2pm EDT/20:00 CET

In the two previous webinars I described and introduced attendees to my visioning process to help individuals through a metaphor to develop a new career direction.

In the inventory process we make the difference between personnal needs and wishes, conditions of a good relationship, the capacities and compétence and the place where we like to be. We will be sorting all the data gathered in the inventory phase and we will create a picture of the treasury and we can decide how to go from « present »  to « future ».

As preparation if the next session, it would be fantastic to work at completing the inventory and to fill all columns of the first analysis sheet. How to do that? Maybe peer coaching the best solution…

The final session will be 11/30/2016 2 pm EST  How do we go from here and a wrap up. There will not be a Dec. meeting.
Last month I described and introduced attendees to my visioning process to help individuals through a metaphor to develop a new career direction. Using the metaphor of Legos, I review 4 steps of creating a vision for the future in 4 defined areas: intimacy, meeting others, work tools, and open to the world. The individual creates their own « village » using Legos.

Using a webinar format and webcam, I will do a short review of the global process used to guide the client in the development of his/her vision of the future, we will deepen the second step : from the inventory to the building of  the four houses. As a coach, what are my questions, what do I want the client to discover, how will I be complete? This is a soft way to do an assessment and can be full of emotions.

Be prepared to complete the process for yourself, as we will use the result at the next follow-up session in November. 2 large sheets of paper, a set of markers will be useful.

We will continue the discussion during the next session.

Using the metaphor of Legos, I will review 4 steps of creating a vision for the future in 4 defined areas: intimacy, meeting others, work tools, and open to the world. The individual creates their own « village » using Legos.

Woven through the model are some NLP tools, EI tools, integral coaching and sustainability processes. Once the vision is created more traditional coaching methods are incorporated.

7 Simple Steps to Transform Your Prospects into Clients!

One of the biggest struggles coaches face is getting clients.

It’s all too easy to fall into the trap of trying to TELL or SELL coaching instead of asking questions to help your prospects understand what they’re looking for—and then letting them sell coaching to themselves!

HERE ARE 7 COACH-LIKE STEPS TO TURN YOUR PROSPECTS INTO CLIENTS:

« Get a coach !
